"Kakyoin has no personality" O rly?

[CW: Mild JJBA Part 3 spoilers]

The idea that Kakyoin has no personality is one that I have heard repeated far too often despite being blatantly false if you pay more than 5 minutes' attention to him. This being the case, I decided to note down some things about Kakyoin that I gathered from canon. I tried to keep personal interpretation out of it as much as possible. I hope that I've been successful at that - we shall see, I suppose xD

• Kakyoin is someone who is generally kind and polite, and doesn't like to upset people for no good reason or earn the ire of people he respects,
• but who also does NOT take bullshit, has a fiery temper that you will witness if you're being a dipshit, and takes delight in inflicting punishment on an enemy. (See what he says during the Tower of Gray fight and also the poo poo food)
• Plus he can be snarky, judgemental, and a bit of a troll at times. Especially if you're Polnareff.
• Also, he is an introvert who has trouble relating to people who aren't stand users, which is why he didn't have anyone he truly considered a friend until he met the other Crusaders. His elementary school teacher was concerned about how quiet and unsociable he seemed.
• He expresses that in the future he would like to marry someone like Holly - a kind, caring, cheerful person who can put you at ease.
• He enjoys video games (or at least, that one F-Zero-like game) and, presumably, painting, and also likes to listen to Sting.
• He is intelligent and also seems to have a fair bit of random trivia knowledge going on there.
• As someone who hates being forced to submit to others, he blames himself for what happened with Dio (how many times does he say "I curse myself" or some variation of that over it??) and takes it upon himself to 'overcome his fears' and 'get stronger' so he can face Dio in battle.
• Finally, evil!Kakyoin, who we see at the beginning, appears merciless and sadistic, literally shoving his stand all the way through that poor lady and out of her mouth?!?!?! to puppeteer her, tries to guilt trip Jotaro into thinking it's his fault that Kakyoin hurt her, and has the curious villain logic that the one who loses is the evil one. Rather than being traits unique to evil!Kakyoin, these seem to be darker traits of Kakyoin's cranked up to 11.
